Membership Portals to Grow and Keep Your Members

We are a UK Microsoft partner that builds portals connected to Dynamics 365 for associations, trade bodies, clubs and charities. Members can access your services, interact, book places, manage their accounts and contribute to your work in one hub.

Reducing membership admin

Administrative changes, member bookings and queries all land with the same team. Each consumes time you could better allocate to the work and programmes people joined for.

A portal connected to Dynamics 365 enables members to self-serve. When they request help, make changes or complete other actions, your CRM reflects it immediately, so nothing is entered twice. People can find information on demand, so teams starts their day with fewer requests waiting.

What a Membership Portal Changes

Engagement that
reduces churn

When members use your resources, book and connect, they have reasons to renew.

Time back
for your team

Routine requests move to self-service, freeing your team for work that needs attention.

Members who
feel heard

Polls, consultations and working groups give people a visible route to influence what you say and do.

Engagement you
can see

Portal actions are visible in Dynamics 365, so you know who is active or drifting before renewal.

Test drive example member portals

When you empower members with a self-service portal, you open the door to a new level of engagement.

Our solutions let people find what they need and complete routine actions that enhance satisfaction — while reducing the admin behind the scenes, so you can scale a vibrant community without scaling headcount.

Functions we build into member portals

Every member organisation runs differently, so we will configure a portal to fit yours. Built by our developers and shaped with experienced consultants, these capabilities can include:

  • Joining and renewals

New members can apply and existing members renew online, with records created and updated in Dynamics 365.

  • Membership and account management

Members manage their contact details and preferences, and check their membership status and entitlements.

  • Events and bookings

Members can book and pay for places online, from club events to annual conferences.

  • Team access

A portal adapts to your membership structure, which can include multiple users per member account.

  • Consultations and working groups

Members can comment on drafts and provide evidence online, ready for policy teams to review.

  • Compliance and declarations

Certificates, consent forms and signed agreements are uploaded once and held against the record.

  • Member directory

Allow people to find and connect with fellow members, whether firms in the same sector or individuals.

  • Insights and publications

Briefings and reports sit behind a member login, with purchase options for gated premium resources.

Customer Success Story

“JOG, a UK yacht racing club, worked with us on a portal that gives competitors round-the-clock access to event information, online entry and payment through Stripe and PayPal. The club’s largest event participation followed its launch.

“We saw JOG Week as an opportunity to encourage young skippers and crew and introduce new people into our brand of racing. The results were impressive, with more participation in the 20-30 year old category.”

Membership Portal FAQs

Will the portal work with our Dynamics 365 CRM?
Yes. We build on the Microsoft platform, which connects natively to Dynamics 365 and other model-driven apps, so the portal reads and writes to your records held in Dataverse. Where members need data from your other systems, we can integrate with these too.
Our members are organisations. Can the portal handle that?

Yes, we build portals for UK trade bodies and business associations. Each member company maintains its membership as an account in Dynamics 365, with a primary contact who can add and remove colleagues up to the allowance included in their membership. Every person gets their own login, newsletter preferences and working group memberships, while your team sees the whole organisation on one record.

Can members pay their subscription through the portal?

Most membership bodies invoice subscriptions, so the portal shows each member’s status, renewal date and billing history without taking payment. Transactional items such as event places and report purchases can be paid online through gateways like Stripe. We agree these boundaries with you during scoping.

Can it support different types of membership?

Individual, organisational and tiered memberships can each carry their own benefits, from event allowances to committee places, all visible to the member and applied by the portal. We map those types with you during scoping.

How does a portal help us represent our members?

Consultations and position papers can be published to members, who comment and contribute their organisation’s evidence online. Your policy team then drafts one response with every submission in view, and members can see how their input shaped it. For campaigning charities, the same tools gather supporter views and evidence for your cause.

How is a membership portal different from a community portal?

A membership portal centres on the relationship between each member and your organisation: joining, renewing, booking and contributing. A community portal focuses on the relationships between people, with discussion and networking at its heart. Many organisations want both, and we build the two to work together within a single hub.
