How do form portals differ from Microsoft Forms or Customer Voice?

Microsoft Forms and Dynamics 365 Customer Voice offer limited customisable features beyond basic web forms and surveys. We enable you to publish fully bespoke forms that reflect your branding and feature custom controls, including advanced conditional rules to consistently capture complete and accurate data.

How many forms and submissions are supported?

Our portal solutions are highly scalable, so you can create unlimited forms that capture as many submissions as possible.

How do people access these forms?

Individuals often access forms by clicking a generic link, so submissions will be anonymous unless the web form is configured to capture their contact details.

In other instances, people can open forms from a unique weblink they have received that will identify them. Alternatively, your portal can be configured to enforce user log-in and authentication through Entra, Microsoft’s secure login system.

Can forms be prefilled with data from Dynamics 365?

Form fields can display data from related records in Dynamics 365, reducing data input and allowing people to confirm or update this information. Pre-populated fields are supported for authenticated users or when people access a form by clicking a unique link that identifies them.

What happens to the files that users upload?

Uploaded PDF documents, images and other supported files will be stored securely in the cloud using Azure Blob Storage. An automated flow will also put these files into SharePoint.

How long does it take to build and launch a form portal?

This is not a pre-packaged solution. The development time will vary depending on the complexity of your web forms. Also, the initial form will generally take longer as we provide technical assistance to create your base template, including header and footer elements, which can be replicated for additional templates. Our initial setup typically requires 3-4 days to create and publish your first form.
